Today, fashion for girls has become a very important part of their lives. Whether they are in need of a new dress or not, they will surely be tempted to buy those newly designed dresses which are displayed in the local shopping malls. It is true that fashion helps improve one's overall beauty and personality, but there are certain things that you need to be aware of when deciding which fashion to go with. There are certain basic rules which need to be followed so that you can improve your physical beauty and not damage it.
Here are some wonderful fashion tips for girls which they cannot go wrong with.
1. One of the first rules of fashion is that you must dress according to the type of body you have. Do not imitate fashion blindly because you definitely don't want to commit what is called as a "fashion disaster." Even the most gorgeous women in the world may have certain flaws and these women are smart enough to hide these flaws with appropriate dressing. When buying a new dress, always keep the flaws of your body and your body type in mind. The dress you choose should not only hide your flaws, but at the same time, they should bring out the striking and attractive features in you.
2. Girls who have broad shoulders or a heavy bust must wear clothing that will not draw attention to these areas of the body. For those girls who have a heavy top should try wearing tops and blouses with horizontal lines, 'V' cut neck and small collars. On the other hand, girls with heavy bottoms should avoid wearing tight dresses. Loose paints that come with low waist are suitable. Loose skirts which have a straight pattern will also work.
3. One of the other important fashion tips for girls is the choice of bras. Bras are essential inner wears and you should make the effort not to show those straps. If you choose to wear spaghetti tops, make sure you go with a strapless bra because showing your bra straps as part of your look is not fashionable at all.
Other quick fashion tips for girls:
- Make up is quite popular as they help enhance the overall physical beauty. When wearing make up, keep it as natural as possible. Avoid using colors like purple, blue and green because they only look good on ramps.
- Add some hair glitter or glitter body gel as they add a touch of cuteness
- Use small hair accessories that sparkle
- Tops and blouses with a little bit of frill will work just fine

fiVE reasONs HIGH heeLS caN hurT yoU

Over the years, high heeled shoes continue to be a popular fashion trend. So popular, it is causing some women to surgically alter their feet in order to fit into them. Even without this, there are health risks associated with wearing high heels.
1. A high heeled shoe forces the posture into an unnatural position that significantly stresses the joints. The spine, which in flat shoes is reasonably straight, forms more of an 'S' shape with the chest and lower back pushing forward and the hips pushed back. The height of the heel also changes the amount of weight on the forefoot. A 1-inch heel will increase the pressure by 22%; a 2-inch heel by 57%; and a 3-inch heel by 76%. This increased pressure puts the forefoot at risk for injuries such as stress fractures, bunions, and hammertoes.
2. Knee pain is common when high heels are involved. The heel height causes increased strain on the knee joint and associated tendons. The quadriceps muscle group in the front of the thigh works harder, increasing pressure on the kneecap by up to 26%. This can ultimately increase the incidence of osteoarthritis of the knee and quadriceps tendinitis.
3. Because of the constant elevation of the heel, contraction and shortening of the calf muscles and Achilles tendon may occur. Habitual wearing of extremely high heels can cause a woman to be unable to tolerate a flat shoe. On occasion, this can even require surgery to lengthen the Achilles tendon. Most often, however, this will increase the chances of Achilles tendinitis or shin splints. 4. The changes in posture and overall imbalance will lead to instability when walking and a resulting risk of ankle sprains. High heels, especially stilettos, will lead to instability and a major increase in ankle sprains result. An ankle sprain is caused from the twisting of the ankle and results in a tear of the ligaments that connect the foot and leg bones and stabilize the ankle. When the heel is balancing on a narrow stiletto heel, if the heel shifts outward slightly a sudden twist may occur to sprain these ligaments. Swelling, bruising and pain will result. At worst, it is possible for the ankle to fracture, a ligament can pull a piece of bone off, or even a bone in the foot can break due to the pull of a tendon.
5. High heels are enjoyed by most women because they are "cute." They are narrow and are contoured to make the foot look slender. The tight fit of many heels will force the toes to conform to its shape. The added pressure on the toes can exacerbate bunions and hammertoes. The pressure of the shoe itself can cause corns to form. Furthermore. The compression of the metatarsal bones can cause pressure on the nerves that run between them. A Morton's neuroma, which is a growth and inflammation of the nerve, can form due to the pressure. Remember, a shoe is meant to fit the foot, not squeeze it relentlessly.
While the overall percentage of women wearing high heels daily has decreased, the percentage reporting physical problems from wearing them has increased. This is likely due to the newer styles that have been introduced. Some have no choice but to wear the shoes for work, however comfort is a priority. Pain should not be a price for style. Be sure to always wear a shoe that is right for your foot. If pain persists, be sure and visit your podiatrist.

7 SecRETs oF beING POPULAR

Why are some people effortlessly popular and well liked? By contrast, other people, no matter how hard they try, never seem to be able to gain the same trust and respect. Even if we may not like to admit it, most people secretly crave the respect and admiration of other people. These are some factors which can lead to a natural popularity.
1. Don’t Try to Be Popular.
It is a mistake to try and become popular. When we seek to impress others and please them, it inevitably encourages us to offer false flattery and think about what they want us to do and say. When we behave like this our ego comes to the fore, and we hide our real self. This kind of behaviour may temporarily impress some people, but, in the long term it is not sustainable. We have to base friendship on being our natural self, and avoid extravagant attempts to rise in other people’s esteem.

2. Think of Others more than you think of your self.
People appreciate those who are considerate of others. If you only talk about yourself and your achievements, people will merely start to try and avoid you. We naturally respect people who are willing to spend time listening to others. This means offering goodwill to everyone, not just a select few who have a high social standing.
3. Be Your self.
It is a strain pretending to be someone you are not. When we seek to please others expectations there is an insincerity in our thought and actions, – people can soon see through this. If we learn to be content with who we are, we allow our natural spontaneity to come to the fore, this is what will naturally attract other people.
4. Have a big Heart.
Learn to be magnanimous in your dealings with other people, forget small mistakes, but appreciate the positive contributions that other people make. This is one of the most important factors in determining how people appreciate us. If we are always judging others with our critical mind, people will naturally feel slighted. If we go out of our way to appreciate the good qualities of others, then people will warm to our generous spirit.
5. Reduce Your Ego.
Do you seek to impress people, through appearing to be wise, and to drop names and important achievements into the conversation? When you magnify your ego, you only increase your popularity with yourself. If you can work without demand for outer recognition and praise, people will warm to your natural humility. Let actions speak louder words; if you do good things, there is no need to act as your own self publicist – you’re not a politician standing for an election. (It is interesting that politicians are very rarely popular, despite the fact they spend most of their lives trying their hardest to court popularity)
6. Humour
To gain popularity we need to be self depreciating and not take ourselves too seriously. Humour is one of the most significant attributes that people appreciate in others. It is said humour is one of the most important things women look in a man when choosing a relationship. This does not mean we have to be a stand up comic with a long list of jokes; in fact we should be careful of boring people with a long monologue of tired jokes.
7. Follow Your ideals quietly.
People look up to those who have a solid character with the attributes of honesty, kindness, strength and humility. But, at the same time these are ideals to be lived and not talked about. Quite often we see some people talking about how others should live a good life. Yet these proud moralists, may be better advised to concentrate on their own conduct before lecturing others. The secret of popularity here is to be honest and self giving without the necessity of correcting others. The most powerful way is to merely lead by example; if others follow, fine; if not that is fine as well.

HOw tO becOME POpuLAR in HIgH schOOl

High School is probably a living hell for some (if not most) students. Here is my definitive guide to becoming the most popular person on campus.
Let me start off by saying however, I was NOT apart of the “popular crowd”. However, I wasn’t a part of the “geek crowd” either, as a matter of fact, I wasn’t apart of ANY crowd, I was just ME. I never cared to become, or even attempted at reaching a level of popularity at that time in my life, I had the wisdom and the foresight to realize that no matter how popular one may become, it doesn’t mean squat in the real world.
Buuuuuut…………..
The social status is certainly achievable, and with a little manipulation, it is definitely possible to reach this position yourself. This is how I would have done it if I actually *did* care about becoming popular.
While it may be true that trends and fads change over time, and every high school throughout the world is different (I’ll be the first here to admit that I don’t know what the international school levels are, so I’m speaking from the American perspective.), the foundations of the plan undoubtedly remains the same.
First Step: Know the Playing Fields and Understand the Collective Groups of Peers
This is crucial, without knowledge of your peers and your high school settings, you’ll get nowhere. The guide I’m writing here won’t turn you into a popular student overnight, it will take proper planning and a few weeks (or months, depending on your current status) of scoping the and analyzing your potential strategies.
The first investigation involves the various groups available. Recognize your targets and make sure no one suspects your reconnaissance work:
  1. The Jocks = Athletic, always discussing last night’s game with their fellow teammates and coaches, are often intimidating
  2. The Social Butterflies = Always talking, making friends with just about anyone, and attend every social event the school offers
  3. The Intelligent Ones (Non-Nerds) = Eloquent within their academic circle, yet smart enough not to associate themselves with the outcasts of the system
  4. Other = Any other group that may be known either specifically to your school region or may have been ‘missing’ from this list
Step Two: Choose A Group and Plan
After an adequate amount of time has passed, the time comes where you have to choose a group and formulate a covert strategy.
TIP: Be sure you Pick a Group You Can Be Good At! You know you don’t belong in the athletic group if you only weigh 85 pounds and can’t even complete the mile run.
Some ideas to keep in mind as you develop your plan include:
  • Start off small. You don’t want to rush into crazy events such as mooning everyone at the next pep rally or something similar. You’ll give your position away too early.
  • Don’t hold back. This roller coaster ride of a plan will involve making friendships, destroying hearts, betrayal, and even subtle manipulation of events. The inevitability of the lack of emotional distraught means it would be wise to train yourself both physically and psychologically, and not grow too attached to any specific person or peer group.
  • Be sure to cover all your bases. Missions rarely go according to the written game plan, so it is of the utmost importance that you have every possible angle covered, the shifting of original steps on the spot, and the calculation of every precise point in your overall strategy as you plan to dominate the battlefield of High School.
Next Step: When you feel Ready and Confident Enough, Craft and Execute your Plan
After careful timing and consideration, the time comes to set your ultimate goal in motion.
Remember, most teenagers are easy to manipulate, not the kids themselves exactly, but ranking highly among the social hierarchy of the school shouldn’t be too difficult of a task. Just about every school has one, and be aware that you are going to have rivals.
Don’t backstab your competitors immediately, it is important to have allies and improvising tactical advances in the Art of War is a necessity. You will get nowhere in this field of combat if you decide to go at it entirely alone.
The Fourth Step: Earn some Thought Out and / or Crazy “Popularity Points”
Popularity Points (PP) can be useful to raise your awareness of your current status during the school year. While these spcific numbers aren’t set in stone, they don’t apply everywhere, as specific groups require different point values. So use these approximate numbers to your advantage, where 0 PP means you’re the biggest loser on campus, and 100 PP means you’re Ruler of the High School:
  • 2 PP = Earn an after-school detention, Attend the Pep Rally, Crack a witty joke in front of a crowd (+1 if during a class)
  • 5 PP = Get a date and / or enter a relationship ( +5 if they’re at least somewhat popular), Start a fight, Score the winning point(s) at the end of the game in your respective sport
  • 10 PP = Receive straight A’s for a whole year, Purchase and show off an automobile, Host a party at your home (-5 if your parents catch you)
  • 25 PP = Win a prestigious title such as Homecoming King (or Queen), Win a Sports Championship, Sleep with a teacher
  • -5 PP = Act like a pussy and back away from a challenge, break down in the middle of the hall, join the chess team or computer club
If you suck at mathematics, don’t use the above system I laid out, instead follow the guidelines, but go with your gut (or better yet, don’t even attempt to become popular, you can’t get to the top without knowing a little math).
It is also important to NOT repeat each point-earner. Spread out where you decide to earn points. Some people might find it a tad suspicious if you enter twenty relationships throughout the year, they’ll perceive you as a slut.
And the Final Step: Remain at the top until you no longer wish to
(If you haven’t obtained at least 100 PP in one year, go back to step four and try again.)
Now you’ve done it, you’ve climbed to the top the social mountain, congratulations!
Is it everything you’ve expected it to be? Are you truly happy with your current status as Champion of your High School?
Perhaps it becomes boring at the top, you may feel lonely up there, or there’s just too much attention for you to handle; whatever the reason is, bow out with grace. It is very easy to lose your status on top of the ladder, and difficult to regain that special status.
Whether you are happy at the top or not, as one final piece of advice, remember just how much this means to yourself and your friends (and just how much the rest of the world actually cares about it).
